- STIEHL 2085is a high-tech material engineered for superior performance in mold manufacturing. Compared to W.Nr.1.2085 and 1.2316, it delivers:

- 40% faster cutting speeds while maintaining drill life (Fig. 2).
- Twice the tool life or significantly faster milling speeds (Fig. 3).
- STIEHL 2085 offers high corrosion resistance, excellent machinability, and long-term application stability, making it ideal for precise multi-cavity mold bases and thermal semi-molds in industries like food packaging, medical devices, and cosmetics.
- Manufactured using electric furnace + LF + VD processes, it ensures high purity and meets rigorous ASTM A388 and ASTM E45 standards.
